The Oxon Hill Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company, Inc. is responsible for providing an efficient and effective delivery of fire, medical, rescue, and life safety emergency services within the Town of Forest Heights. Emergency services are delivered from the two strategically located fire stations near the town. Both stations are in need of Volunteer members whether its an active riding member or support / auxiliary, help is always need to care for our community.
The Fire Department also strives to improve the quality of life for town residents by providing public education, community service, and ongoing training for firefighters.
The primary goals of the Fire Department are to:
Improve the outcome of patients
Protect the environment from destruction
Quickly rescue trapped victims
Reduce and prevent the loss of life and property damage
