Since the deployment of Speed Monitoring Systems throughout various locations in the Town the Police Department has noticed that the word has traveled about speeding in Forest Heights and that marked patrol cars RADAR as well as cameras are resulting in significantly increased enforcement. Traffic Enforcement Unit officers are reminding travelers of the dangers of speed and encourage due caution when driving.
Should you receive a speed citation in the mail you should follow the instructions on the back of the notification. The Police Department cannot handle any disputes nor can it accept payments over the phone or in person.
