The Prince George’s County Council will introduce CR-44-2016 a Resolution concerning the Local Impact Grant Funds Multi-Year Plan, and consider potential amendments proffered by the County Council. Per CB-88-2015, the County Council has an opportunity to review and amend the Local Impact Funds Multi-Year Plan. The Plan that the County Council approves will decide how funds are spent in the local impact area. Included in the County Council’s amendments, is a proposal to shift approximately $1.2 million of funds set aside for education to Crossland High School’s “Career Academy.”
Councilman Patterson encourages you to attend the September 13th County Council meeting as this is another opportunity to influence how Local Impact Funds are allocated in Fiscal Year 2017.
