Great news! There are a whole bunch of Enrollment Assistance Events to aid you even more!
Head to this site, and choose the time and place which is best for you. Take advantage of professionals who will help you save money and safeguard your health!
You'll find how to enroll as an individual &/or family, or even how to set up if you have a small business. There are guides to prepare for enrollment, find a healthcare provider for your chosen program, or get help. And they've got lots set up to help you. If you need one-on-one guidance, you can even get in-person assistance! (Find this by going to the Maryland Health Connection site, and scrolling down the page to a map. See how our PG County region is in orange? It is called the "'capital' regional connector entity." Roll down to see our "capital" section and choose that.) Wow!
Still having trouble? Call the Consumer Support Center at 1-855-642-8572 toll-free to discuss the issue, or start an application by phone. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Maryland Health Connection will help you find health insurance that fits your budget and meets your needs with less hassle. No matter where you live, you may buy insurance from private health plans that cover a comprehensive set of benefits, including doctor visits, hospital stays, preventive care, and prescriptions. And plans in the Marketplace must treat you fairly; they can't deny you coverage because of a pre-existing condition.
With a single application, you can also see if you qualify for Medicaid or the Children's Health Insurance Program, or savings you can use right away to lower your health insurance premiums.
So what are you waiting for? Get what's best for you, your health, and your wallet! :)
